TALKIN TRENCH!

When you speak the language of Fall Fashion you have to speak in TRENCH! This necessary interim weather item is a timeless transformation piece that picks up ANY outfit! From Uggs to pumps, and riding boots, to ballet flats, trench coats are the “caffeine” for any outerwear statement.

Don’t be afraid to go for rich unconventional colors like blues, yellows, or greens. For the MAJORLY DIVINE try multi fabric trenches (leathers & suede) or surprise trims like spikes or zippers!

SEEING SPOTS

I LOVE anything with a dynamic print, whether its tribal inspired, floral, and a new one for me… LEOPARD! I must admit I was never a die hard fan of the leopard/cheetah/zebra or any other print from safari dwellers (shocking, I know). This season, however, I suppose die hard animal print haters will see me as somewhat of a turncoat… that is, turning to and gravitating towards coats, blouses, and especially loafers with leopard print! Granted, this print is far from new; this season, on the other hand, has proved to be the most ferocious (pun intended) appearance! Here are some of the looks the MDs are prescribing for spot vision:

Overall, I think it’s a good time to have a girl in the 21st century because things are changing, with more opportunities for women. But girls are still the underdog, which means they’ll work harder, and everybody loves an underdog. The next Steve Jobs will totally be a chick, because girls are No. 2—and No. 2 always wins in America. Apple was a No. 2 company for years, and Apple embodies a lot of what have been defined as feminine traits: an emphasis on intuitive design, intellect, a strong sense of creativity, and that striving to always make the greatest version of something. Traditionally, men are more like Microsoft, where they’ll just make a fake version of what that chick made, then beat the shit out of her and try to intimidate everybody into using their product.
